Kosha Dillz 2016 Brownies & Lemonade stage
Representing “Jewish” is a default characteristic for a rapper named Kosha Dillz. His latest video Span-Hebrish, combines Hebrew and Spanish lyrics to wow is diverse crowd and has breakdancing rabbis. While some consider themselves hard-core, alternative, or indie, Dillz shoots for the brand of “experience music.” When the question of “What’s your favorite place to perform?” comes to mind, no one show can be considered more important than another. From his performance with Matisyahu in Gryzbowski Square in the Warsaw Ghetto in front of 3000 people, to a street performance outside the 2015 Grammys that landed him acting in a national Chevrolet commercial. His “Experience” hop should be spread everywhere, from dinner table raps to festivals of over 10,000 people. It’s no wonder Kevin Lyman booked him as one of the first artists on Vans Warped Tour 2015 this past summer, where Kosha played for nearly half a million people in 41 cities.
