Planet Rock 2014 Shifty Rhythms stage

Planet Rock is Los Angeles’ collaboration of Dom Corleone & ASAA. Together they’ve carved out a niche in the future bass spectrum while also paying homage to their hip hop roots. The group’s name is a reference to the most crucial game-changer in 808 bass history, Afrika Bambaataa’s Planet Rock. No stranger to the LA electronic music scene, they have taken it on headfirst playing shows from warehouses in Downtown to ritzy clubs in Hollywood alongside acts like Diplo, UZ, and 12th Planet. Their debut EP on the Shifty Rhythms imprint, entitled ‘What She Wants’, has amassed over 60k plays across internet music platforms and is a fitting showcase for their versatile production skills.
