Katie Boeck is a well established singer-songwriter in the LA music scene. With strong influence from the likes of Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt, and John Mayer, Katie is a soulful songwriter with a heartbreakingly angelic voice. Katie’s gift for storytelling and charisma as a live performer have taken her from Los Angeles to India, where she toured as the lead singer of an all-girl pop group for 6 months, using her downtime to write the songs from her forthcoming Kickstarter-funded EP, to be released Summer 2014. After returning to Los Angeles, Katie has continued to establish her own brand of roots-y, confessional folk that retains a pop sensibility, and plays frequently with her band in Los Angeles and California, and tours solo around the US including shows at Hotel Cafe, The Living Room and Rockwood Music Hall in NYC, SXSW in Austin, and across the Pacific Northwest in Idaho and Montana, her second home state.
