Greenhorse 2014 cARTel stage

Greenhorse is an electronic trio featuring Chris Hackman, Shawn Day and Joel Saur, who first met at an antique music store in Wyoming. Their music is influenced by 80s industrial, Chicago house, classic soul, experimental psychedelia, and straight-ahead pop music. Raised on the vast plains of the American West, Greenhorse has emerged from isolation with an artistic voice all their own.

The music of Greenhorse has been featured on Saturday Night Live, MTV, CMJ, and they have appeared on stages from LA’s renowned Echoplex and Troubadour to the seediest dive bars in the West. Having released two EPs, they are currently hard at work forging new music as unique as the ghostly state from which they came. A tribe unto themselves, the members of Greenhorse travel in a tight-knit gang sharing their mad passion, gentle insanity, inspired artistry, and singular message wherever they roam.
