Marvel Gr8 2013 Brownies & Lemonade stage
Marvel The Gr8’s infatuation with rhyme started at the age of 12. The span of his teenage years proved to be a time for conjuring rhymes from intangible images, emotions and thoughts. After years of honing his skill, finding his voice, he co-founded the hip-hop trio “The Circuit” and went on to have many successes including releasing a mixtape hosted by Mick Boogie. Known for his sharp delivery, Mr. Gr8 communicates himself clearly, and powerfully. As such Marvel is the voice of The Random Citizens collective – a hip-hop, turntablism & groove oriented crew that continually redefines TURNT UP with their party driven style. He has shared the stage w/ Mos Def, The Game, Too Short, Murs, Diplo, Cam-Ron, DJ Quik, Tha Dogg Pound and Wax among countless others.
On Feb 28th 2013, Marvel The Gr8 released his newest album entitled “GR8” for free online. It features production from gLAdiator, Neo Fresco, Brian Polar, Danny Parra, Korova, J-Hyphen and MaineBeatz.
“GR8 is a celebration of life. It’s a reminder that GR8ness can only be achieved if we believe we can obtain it. People spend too much time dwelling on the negative and I set out to change that. Life is too short to be miserable.”
